Pre-Briefing
Antrim and Newtownabbey Borough Council’s Digital Innovation Team and Queens University’s William J Clinton Leadership Institute are hosting an in person pre-briefing session for businesses interested in securing up to £20,000 of funding towards their Digital Transformation Project on Tuesday 18th of June at 9:30am at the Antrim Civic Centre, Steeple Suite.

The fund offers businesses between £5,000 and £20,000 for a digital transformation project in six technological areas: AI (Artificial Intelligence), Big Data, Process Automation via Robotics or Cobotics, Immersive Technologies (Virtual Reality/Augmented Reality/Mixed Reality), Blockchain and Smart Technologies (Internet of Things).
The programme covers 70% of the cost of a digital transformation project, with the purchase going towards off-the-shelf or bespoke hardware and software that fits within the key technologies. The fund is open to all businesses who meet the eligibility criteria as follows:
- Based in Northern Ireland and operate within 1 of the 11 local Council areas.
- Small or Micro business with less than 49 full time employees.
- VAT registered.
- Actively trading for a minimum of 12 months.
- Have a Digital Transformation Plan or equivalent.
- Be focused on one or more of the six funded advanced digital technologies.
- Have not received State Aid/Subsidy (funding from any national or local public sector scheme) in excess of €300,000 over the previous three financial years (De Minimis aid).
- DTFF is open to all sectors with the exception of primary agriculture, forestry and fisheries.
