Application Assistance
Working in partnership with the Department for Communities, Antrim and Newtownabbey Borough Council is launching Phase 2: Antrim/Crumlin/Glengormley of this initiative, aiming to regenerate town centres by helping local businesses to improve the external appearance of their properties.
The application call is now open and the scheme Guidance Notes are available below for your information. Please read these carefully before submitting the application form, also below.
To assist with the application process you are invited to attend any of the information drop-in sessions which will be held in October and November in Antrim, Crumlin & Glengormley:
No appointment is necessary to attend these sessions, simply drop-in at a time that best suits you between the opening hours indicated. Whilst attendance is not mandatory, the sessions are intended to offer you an opportunity to raise any questions about the scheme and your application.
Please note, that as part of the process, applicants will be required to submit two quotations for works proposed. Quotations must be ‘like for like’. Failure to comply with this condition may result in the application being rejected.
The closing date for applications is 12 noon on Friday 13 December 2024.
If you have any queries please refer to the Guidance Notes on link below or contact the Regeneration Team at the drop-in clinics or by email at shopfronts@antrimandnewtownabbey.gov.uk.
